Selective solid-phase extraction of atrazine from agricultural environmental water samples using high permeability nanoporous carbon derived from melamine-based polybenzoxazine followed by HPLC-UV

For the first time, a highly permeable nanoporous carbon derived from melamine-based polybenzoxazine (NPC-PBZ-m) was used as solid-phase extraction sorbent for trace analysis of atrazine (ATZ) herbicide in environmental water samples pre-treatment to enhance detection high-performance liquid chromatography. Extraction performance investigated using an agricultural field matrix-water sample. The parameters affecting efficiency were carefully investigated. optimisation conditions determined 200.0 mg with adsorption flow rate 10.0 mL min−1, elution 1.0 and volume 3.0 mL. Moreover, it not necessary adjust pH Under these optimised conditions, good linearity between 5.00 30.0 µg L−1 achieved along limit (LOD) 1.25 quantification (LOQ) 3.79 L−1. Furthermore, reusability NPC-PBZ-m column found up 8 cycles making new cost-effective material enrichment. Finally, this developed method successfully applied analyse ATZ rice fields, fish farms, natural canal water, 98–117% relative recoveries. These results indicate that our proposed is feasible demonstrates its potential application effective adsorbent
